FAQ

Good questions, straight answers

Everything families usually ask before booking. Don't see yours? Email us at [email protected].

Is the assessment really free?

Yes — completely. We come to your home, measure your space, talk through your wish list and budget, and give you honest guidance on what's possible. There's no fee and no obligation to book a build.

What does a playroom cost?

Custom playrooms start at $7,500, depending on your room's size and the features you choose. Most full-room builds land between $15,000 and $30,000. Your exact price is quoted in writing when you approve your 3D design — before we build anything.

What is the $500 design deposit?

After your free assessment, this deposit starts your project: it covers your full 3D design and holds your spot on our build calendar. It is not a fee — every penny is credited toward your job. When you approve your design, your production deposit brings your total paid to 50% and we order your materials. It comes with one free transfer if your timing needs to shift.

What is the client portal?

It’s your private project page — no app to download, just one link that works on your phone. Your 3D design lives there for you to approve or request edits, along with your before photos and 360 walkthrough, your build timeline and progress photos, your agreement to sign, your payments and receipts, your documents, and messaging with us (portal messages and email stay in one thread). Whenever something needs your decision, we email you a link straight to it.

Do you offer financing or discounts?

Both. Financing is available through Stripe. And if you pay in full at design approval, you'll save 5% on your build.

How long does the whole thing take?

After your free assessment, we create your 3D design for your approval. Once approved, most of your playroom is prefabricated in our shop, and the install in your home takes about one week. We'll give you a clear schedule before your install window begins.

Which areas do you serve?

We currently build in Hillsborough, Pasco and Hernando counties in the Tampa Bay area. If you're just outside those counties, email us — we'll always be honest about whether we can make it work.

How do you make sure it's safe?

Our designs follow ASTM F1148 home playground guidance. Padded flooring matched to fall heights is standard, anchors are torqued and recorded in a log, and every install is documented with photos. You receive those records at handover, plus a free month-11 safety check. See our Safety page for the full rundown.

Are you licensed? What experience do you have?

Here’s the straight answer. Wiggle Room Playrooms LLC is a registered Florida business owned by Rylee and Anthony Littleson. Anthony is a woodworker by trade — he spent years building pole barns, decks and structures, plus home renovation projects across the area — and in our family’s other business, Flow Motion Irrigation, he’s a Certified Irrigation Technician with advanced Rain Bird Academy training, top-rated by customers across Google, Angi and HomeAdvisor. Our playroom work is deliberately non-structural finish work: no structural framing, and no electrical, plumbing or HVAC. We design every project to stay in that lane, so it doesn’t involve building permits — and if a project ever needs permitted or licensed work, we’ll tell you up front and bring in a licensed partner for that part rather than wing it. What we do put in writing: a signed agreement, documented safety checks on every install, and a 1-year parts and workmanship warranty.

What warranty do I get?

Every build includes a 1-year parts & workmanship warranty, and we return at month 11 for a free safety check — inspecting anchors, padding and features before your first year is up.

What ages are your playrooms for?

We design around your children's current ages with room to grow — hold layouts that can be re-routed, features scaled for developing skills. Tell us your kids' ages at the assessment and we'll design for the next several years, not just this one.

Can you work with a small room or an odd space?

Often, yes. A focused feature wall, a corner climbing zone or a nook under the stairs can transform a small footprint. Your free assessment is where we find out — we'll tell you honestly what fits and what we'd skip.

What happens after the build is done?

You get your safety records, care and use guidelines, and your month-11 safety check on the calendar. After that, we're an email away if anything ever looks, feels or sounds different in your room.
